🐾One grant will support our SPED department as they expand their Sensory Learning Center, giving students even more ways to explore, regulate, and learn.
🐾The second grant will help to begin building our Discovery Courtyard Outdoor Learning Lounge, an outdoor space designed to spark curiosity and collaboration.
A huge thank-you to CCEF for supporting our students and staff! 🌟❤️

Just a reminder that if your child is in grades 1-5 and you are interested in the Gifted and Talented program, the application deadline is December 2nd. Please see the attached flyer and contact Mrs. McDonel if you have any questions.

Bobcat families: Thank you for a great pickup today with all the sudden changes! 💛 We’ve made a few updates and are now adding arrival procedures. We’ll give grace for tardies this week while we work to make drop-off move faster. 🐾Working together, Mrs. Perez
🚧 Traffic Change on Norton Street – Please Read Carefully
Thank you for your patience as we work out logistics for a temporary traffic change due to construction. Effective immediately, Norton Street is now a one-way coming from Kostoryz Road.
Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, October 27th, and this change is expected to remain in place for at least the next two months.
For both arrival and dismissal: 🚶♀️ Pedestrian Safety
Pedestrians should look for open sidewalks to find the safest route around construction. Once work begins next week, you’ll start to see activity along the school-side curb of Norton Street.
For now, the crosswalk will remain open for those parking along Norton or Annapolis.
We will continue to post updates as construction progresses to help families plan the best pedestrian routes.
🚘 Morning Arrival Drop Off Changes
Pre-K–2nd Grade
Please use the front parking lot for drop-off. All vehicles will enter from Ramsey Road and follow the designated flow of traffic. Upon exiting, vehicles will be required to make a left turn onto Norton.
🚗 Note: This is a drop-off zone only — no parking is allowed in the drive. If you need to park, please use a designated parking space in the lot or along the street side.
3rd–5th Grade – New This Week
All 3rd–5th grade students will now use the Brentwood side for morning drop-off and walk toward the front of the building. Please come from Kostoryz toward Sam Houston due to the one-way traffic pattern and make a left turn onto Brentwood.
👷♀️ Staff and Safety Patrol will be present in both areas to assist with safety and walking students to their locations as needed.
🏁 Afternoon Dismissal
🚸 Pre-K Pickup
No change in location. However, we urge parents to park along Norton or on Annapolis and use the crosswalks for safety. Please remember that Norton is now one-way from Kostoryz, and some vehicles will be turning left toward Brentwood for older student drop-off and pickup.
🅿️ Kinder–1st Grade Pickup
Continue using the parking lot. All vehicles will be required to make a left turn to exit the lot.
🚗 Brentwood Pickup (2nd–5th Grade)
The pickup location remains the same, but please note that the route has changed. All vehicles must follow the one-way traffic from Kostoryz Road to Sam Houston.
Thank you again for your patience and cooperation as we work through these changes to keep everyone safe! 💛🐾
